Gallery Owner Linda Durham Speaks on Internet Issues

[ Linda Durham Photo ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- On Friday, Oct. 6, art gallery owner and consultant Linda Durham will deliver a presentation on "Oh, What a Tangled Web" in the Bayley Room of Beeghly Library on the Ohio Wesleyan University campus. The event, part of the annual Sagan National Colloquium lecture series, begins at 3 p.m. and is free to the public.

Durham is the founder and owner of Linda Durham Contemporary Art in Galisteo, New Mexico, near Santa Fe. The gallery largely displays works created by New Mexico-based artists, young and experienced alike, in addition to two annual invitational exhibitions. She has also lectured and conducted workshops on art collecting and the business of working in the art world at the Yale University School of Business and Management, the Santa Fe Art Institute, and the Sundance Institute, among others. Durham has taken part in several art expositions as an exhibitor, including Art Fair Seattle, Art Chicago, the Los Angeles Art Fair, and ArtMiami.

The Sagan National Colloquium is a series of lectures dedicated to an annual theme; the 2000 series being "A Wired World: The Internet and Beyond."
