Goerne has performed extensively throughout Europe and the U.S., including singing with the Metropolitan Opera, the London Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony, and the San Francisco Symphony. In 1999, his recording of the Hollywood Songbook was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Classical Vocal Performance.
