Afro-Caribbean, Latin American Music Featured in PA/LS Concert

[ HUMANO Publicity Photo ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- It'll be hard to stay in your seat once you hear the beat! Ohio Wesleyan presents Jorge Arce and HUMANO as part of its Performing Arts and Lecture Series (PA/LS).

HUMANO combines Afro-Caribbean and Latin American music with the compositions and voice interpretation of artist, actor, dancer, and composer Jorge Arce. A group of versatile musicians who use traditional acoustic and brass instruments such as conga drums, timbales, bongos, claves, flute, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone along with more modern instruments, the musical repertoire of HUMANO includes Salsa, Merengue, Bomba, Plena, Cumbia, and more.

They will perform on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. in OWU's Gray Chapel Auditorium, 61 S. Sandusky Street.
