![]() Afro-Caribbean, Latin American Music Featured in PA/LS Concert November 2, 2000
HUMANO combines Afro-Caribbean and Latin American music with the compositions and voice interpretation of artist, actor, dancer, and composer Jorge Arce. A group of versatile musicians who use traditional acoustic and brass instruments such as conga drums, timbales, bongos, claves, flute, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone along with more modern instruments, the musical repertoire of HUMANO includes Salsa, Merengue, Bomba, Plena, Cumbia, and more. They will perform on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. in OWU's Gray Chapel Auditorium, 61 S. Sandusky Street. Single tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for senior citizens, and $4 for students ages 6 to 18. For more information or to reserve tickets, call 740-368-3185. |
