SpringFest Features Reel Big Fish, Life in General, DAS EFX

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan students will return from spring break to welcome SpringFest 2000, which is scheduled for Friday, March 24. This year's bands include: Reel Big Fish, a ska band (pictured at right); Life in General, a two-person band and winner of the contemporary performers of the year at the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) for the fourth year; and DAS EFX, an R&B/hip hop group.

The doors of the Gordon Field House of the Branch Rickey Center open at 7 p.m. and the performance begins at 8 p.m. OWU student tickets are $5 when purchased prior to Monday, March 20 and $10 after that date or when purchased at the door. Students must show a valid student ID when purchasing the tickets. General public admission is $15 prior to March 20 and $20 after that date or when purchased at the door.

Debbie Lamp, director of student activities and the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center and advisor to the Campus Programming Board, said a lot of work went into planning this event and she is excited because the students are so excited. SpringFest is sponsored by the Campus Programming Board and WCSA.
