Friday Rally Recognizes OWU Women's Soccer Championship

DELAWARE,
OHIO -- Members of the Ohio Wesleyan and Delaware communities are invited
to celebrate the success of OWU's women's soccer team in a rally on Friday,
Nov. 30 at 4 p.m., on the JAYWalk, in front of Hamilton-Williams Campus
Center. The team won its first-ever NCAA Division III national championship,
after defeating Amherst College on Nov. 17, ending the season with a record
of 22 wins and 1 loss.
Friday's rally will include congratulatory remarks from OWU President Tom Courtice and Board of Trustees Chairperson Doug Dittrick, presentation of a signed proclamation from the City of Delaware, and appearances by the women's soccer team and Head Coach, Bob Barnes.
