The CDDC will be performing Echad (One) and The Klezmer Sketch, along with one other piece yet to be announced. Echad (One) focuses on the shifting, changing image of human equilibrium. The Klezmer Sketch is the first part of a larger work entitled Mayne Mentshn (My People), which celebrates a multi-generational Jewish Experience and legacy.

The CDDC is an eight-person contemporary dance group that was formed by choreographer Carolyn Dorfman twenty years ago, and has performed around both the United States and the world. Carolyn Dorfman was named Distinguished Artist by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, which awarded her four Choreography Fellowships.

In addition to the public performance on Sept. 21, Carolyn Dorfman and her ensemble will be holding a Master Class for current Ohio Wesleyan dance students at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20. The class will focus on an artist's creative voice and will help students explore communication through movement.

The performance on Sept. 21 is open to the public. Ticket prices for this, and all PAS events, are $40 for the entire season (five shows), $15 for adults and $5 for students.
