OWU Faculty Duo Performs Works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms for Recital

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Korine Fujiwara, violin, and Cameron Bennett, piano, will present a recital at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, in Jemison Auditorium of Sanborn Hall. This program will feature works by Bach, Beethoven, de Falla, Dvorak, and Brahms.

Fujiwara, a faculty member since 1993, is also a member of the Duvall Trio, OWU's faculty ensemble-in-residence. Fujiwara is a full-time member of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and has performed as soloist, chamber musician, and an orchestral player throughout this country, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Bennett, a member of the OWU faculty since 1992, is also a member of the Duvall Trio, OWU's faculty ensemble-in-residence, and serves as current department chairman. He has had an active career performing as both soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, Canada, Russia and the Far East. Bennett has recently been appointed to the position of Executive Director of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra of Columbus.
