![]() Graduating Seniors Seek 'Refuge from Academia' in Ross Art Museum Show April 22, 2003
Works of 17 students will be shown during the spring show, representative of the four years they have spent at Ohio Wesleyan. Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works will be displayed, including metals, jewelry, clothing, photography, printmaking, sculpture and painting. A reception celebrating the artists' work will be held on Friday, April 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ross Art Museum. Coffee, courtesy of the Mean Bean Caffeine Lounge, light hors d'oeurves and wine will be served. Sponsors of the show include the OWU Chaplain's Office and Provost's Office as well as the Mean Bean, Corner Frame Shop and Hardware Exchange. All of the artists will be present at the reception, for which business casual attire is requested. Both the Ross Art Museum and the reception are free and open to the public. The museum is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, call 740-368-3600. |
