Scientific Pioneer Dr. Andrei Aleinikov Discusses Creativity, Language and Innovation

[ Dr. Andrei Aleinikov ] DELAWARE, OHIO -- Dr. Andrei Aleinikov, author, business consultant, and nominee for the President's National Medal of Science, will lecture as part of the Sagan National Colloquium public affairs series at Ohio Wesleyan University on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. in OWU's Hamilton-Williams Campus Center Benes Room. As a 2004 Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow, Dr. Aleinikov will address "Unleashing Creativity: New Thinking in a New World," which relates to this year's Colloquium theme on "Dimensions of Creativity."

Dr. Aleinikov, the discoverer of MegaCreativity, will discuss how MegaCreativity empowers the human mind, leads to unusual openness, changes human perception, multiplies idea-generating abilities, and provides genius orientation. The author of over 90 published works, Dr. Aleinikov offers a new definition of genius and educational philosophy outlined in his "Nurturing The Genius In Your Child" (2000) and "MegaCreativity: Five Steps to Thinking Like a Genius" (2002). Dr. Aleinikov is the founder of two new sciences, Creative Linguistics (1988) and Novology (1991), the science of newness. Nominated for the US Professor of the Year, Dr. Aleinikov is the designer of Creagogy, (Creative Pedagogy and Creative Andragogy) and Genius Education Methodology. His pioneering courses in Psychology of Creativity and in Creative and Innovative Education has made him the winner of the 2003 Outstanding Educator Award for Innovative and Creative Teaching from the Academy of Educational Leadership.
