Codispoti to Lead FIT OWU Brown Bag

March 17, 2005

Delaware, Ohio -- Connie Codispoti, public health dietitian for the Delaware General Health District, will present "Eating to Prevent Disease" during the final FIT OWU Brown Bag Chat on March 22 at 11 a.m. and noon in Ohio Wesleyan University's Hamilton-Williams Campus Center Benes Room B. The event is free and open to the public.

Codispoti will focus on medical ailments and how to control or prevent them through good dietary choices. Tuesday's discussion will narrow the focus from Codispoti's Feb. 16 presentation, "What Did I Just Eat." Her previous presentation focused on the general issues faced when selecting meal options and top health concerns facing public health agencies.

The FIT OWU program concludes with a post-screening next week and the FIT OWU celebration will take place on April 7 for those that successfully completed the program.
