Randall Leads FIT OWU Taste Testing

February 2, 2005

Bobbie Randall, corporate dietician for Buehler Food Markets, will lead the fourth FIT OWU Brown Bag Chat on Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. and noon in Ohio Wesleyan University's Hamilton-Williams Campus Center Benes Room B. The event is free and open to the public.

Randall's discussion, "Healthy Choice Taste Testing," will outline healthy eating, proper portion size, and getting enough exercise. Randall has a Master's Degree in Education and is a registered dietician and licensed dietician in the state of Ohio.

Randall will also offer taste testing for butter and sugar. "All of us have done it," says Randall. "We've gone to the grocery store and stood in front of the dairy section and wondered which kind of butter we should purchase. Well I'm going to give you the chance to decide all in one location." The opportunity to learn about each product and which one works best for each person. "I hate telling people what they should eat," continues Randall. "I like giving people the tools to make their own decisions. When they have the tools it is more likely that the improvements will last."

Randall's husband, Bob Randall, is a 1975 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan and the family resides in Wooster.
