Ohio Wesleyan Experience Prepared French '86

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan alumnus Andrew French '86 will kick-off the 2005-2006 Science Lecture Series on Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Schimmel/Conrades Science Center (90 S. Henry S., Delaware).

French, an associate professor of chemistry at Albion College will present "My Research Career with Undergraduates: Adventures in Chiral Hypervalent Iodine Reagents; How Luck and Ohio Wesleyan Made It Happen." The lecture will highlight how French’s experiences as an Ohio Wesleyan student impacted how he works with and teaches students at Albion.

The second OWU Science Lecture Series will be on Sept. 29 when Ohio State’s Helen Chamberlin will present.
