Congressman David Hobson 58' Receives OFIC Honor

DELAWARE, OHIO --
David L. Hobson, Congressman, U.S. House of Representatives and a 1958 graduate
of Ohio Wesleyan University, was inducted into The Ohio Foundation of
Independent Colleges Hall of Excellence on Wednesday, April 6.The reception, dinner and program began at 5 p.m. in the Statehouse Atrium in Columbus. OWU President Mark Huddleston introduced Congressman Hobson, after which Hobson spoke about the value of public service and how Ohio Wesleyan has influenced his life in numerous ways.
Also honored that evening were retired ABC News anchor, Hugh Downs from Bluffton University; CEO and chief scientific officer of Intracel Corp., Dr. Michael Hanna (Baldwin-Wallace College);and Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Renee Jones Weeks, Esq. (Ursuline College).
