OWU Graduate on Jeopardy, Tonight

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Matt Zielenski, a 2000 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan, will appear on the game show Jeopardy tonight.Zielenski is part of the show's "Ultimate Tournament of Champions" having won $47,300 during two runs on the show in 1995. Zielenski won the 1995 "Teen Tournament of Champions" amassing $42,300 in winnings, which at the time was the highest amount in a two-day tournament. He also won $5,000 as a contestant on the shows "Tournament of Champions."
Zielenski is one of 135 players that were invited back to compete as part of the "Ultimate Tournament of Champions." The five-round tournament will culminate with the top two performers from the "Ultimate Tournament of Champions" squaring off against Ken Jennings in a three-day total point challenge.
Zielenski, now living in Cleveland, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio Wesleyan and was active in community service.
