A senior fellow and director of the Brookings Project on U.S. Relations with the Islamic World at the Brookings Institution, Singer earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University. His current project is changes in 21st century warfare. Some of his publications include Children at War (Pantheon, 2005) and "Outsourcing War," Foreign Affairs (March 2005). The Sagan National Colloquium is in its 21st year at Ohio Wesleyan. The year’s theme is “The Citizen Scientist, How Science Affects Our Daily Lives.” All lectures are free of charge and open to the public.
