Barger Family Lecture Series Kicks Off November 15

The inaugural Barger Family Lecture Series will debut at Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, November 15, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Hamilton-Williams Benes Rooms.

Lectures and discussions will focus on “The 2006 U.S. Elections: What Happened? Why? What’s Next?” Several guest panelists including political science professors, analysts, commentators and writers will join program coordinator, Professor Carl Pinkele and members of the Ohio Wesleyan and surrounding communities to reflect on the outcomes and significance of the November 7 elections. Participating on the panel are David Brady, Senior Fellow and Deputy Director of the Hoover Foundation and political science and ethics professor at The Stanford Graduate School of Business; Tom Edsall, professor at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and columnist for “The New Republic;” Steve Ansolabehere, the Elting R. Morison Professor of Political Science at MIT; and Carl Pinkele, the Honorable Charles W, Fairbanks Professor of Politics and Government and Director of The Arneson Institute for Practical Politics at OWU.
