Mass' Book Finalist For 2005 Book of the Year Award

DELAWARE, Ohio — Leslie Mass, director of Ohio Wesleyan's Early Childhood Center, has had her first book, "In Beauty May She Walk: Hiking the Apalachian Trail at 60" named a finalist for the 2005 Book of the Year award."ForeWord Magazine," a major independent publishing trade journal, listed Mass' book as one of the top six adventure/recreation books from independent publishers.

"In Beauty May She Walk," published by Rock Spring Press, has received nothing but positive feedback since its release in September 2005. The "Library Journal" stated, "Her account is full of rich and emotionally charged detail about the journey and the personal growth that resulted from it."
