Chelsea Clinton to Visit Ohio Wesleyan University at 12:30 p.m. Today

February 13, 2008

DELAWARE, OHIO – Chelsea Clinton, touted by Newsweek as “a potent weapon” in Hillary Clinton’s bid for the White House, will speak to Ohio Wesleyan University students from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Feb. 13 in the Bishop Café in the lower level of Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, 40 Rowland Ave. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

Chelsea Clinton, 27, has visited more than 20 states in connection with her mother’s presidential campaign to share information about the Democratic New York senator’s stance on issues including fiscal responsibility, foreign policy, and higher education.

Ohio Wesleyan student Kyle Herman, treasurer for the Ohio chapter of College Democrats, is helping to coordinate Clinton’s Ohio Wesleyan visit.

“It’s really great to engage Ohio Wesleyan students and connect them with major political actors leading up to such an important election,” said Herman, a first-year student from Stow, Ohio.
