Noted Rock ’N’ Roll Historian to Present 1970s Multimedia Show
Barry Drake to Bring Music of the ’70s to Ohio Wesleyan University

DELAWARE, OHIO – The man known as “the walking encyclopedia of rock music” will bring the sounds and sights of 1970s-era rock to Ohio Wesleyan University during his presentation “70s Rock: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” at 7 p.m. April 7 in Benes Room B of Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, 40 Rowland Ave. This presentation, sponsored by the OWU Campus Programming Board, is free and open to the public.

Songwriter/musician Barry Drake was on the scene during major performances by many rock legends, and for 25 years he has been bringing his rock ’n’ roll presentations covering the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s to college campuses.

Voted “Campus Lecturer of the Year” five times by the National Association for Campus Activities, Drake also has been named “Campus Lecturer of the Year” three times by Campus Activities Magazine.
