Malik is a Chicago-based playwright, actress, and solo performance artist. She was born and raised in London, England, and is of South Asian heritage. She is under commission with The Goodman Theater in Chicago, and is one of four writers in The Goodman’s Playwrights Unit. This performance of “Unveiled” is sponsored by the University Chaplain’s Office; the OWU chapter of Amnesty International; the OWU Peace and Justice House; the OWU Women’s Resource Center; the OWU departments of Women’s and Gender Studies, Religion, Theatre & Dance, and Sociology-Anthropology; and the Ohio Wesleyan Art Guild.
