Vu is among a group of six Ohio college students who will participate in a panel discussion and awards reception April 13 during a free public event at Ohio Wesleyan. Vu’s series of three artist’s books titled “Organics” will be on exhibit at the reception. “It’s a great experience for undergraduate students to have to prepare a portfolio and write statements, as we did for this award,” Vu said. “This provides good preparation for real-world work after graduation.” Fine arts faculty from independent colleges in Ohio were asked to nominate two outstanding senior artists from each campus for this competition.
