![]() Expert Source: Kim Dolgin, Ph.D. An expert in child development, Kim Dolgin, Ph.D., teaches at Ohio Wesleyan courses including child psychology, adolescence, and psychology of the atypical child. Her current research focuses on adolescents’ use of the “new technologies” (e.g. the Internet, cell phones) and their effects on development. She formerly conducted research on children's social cognition and the changing relationships of parents and children, siblings, and friends across the lifespan. Co-author of the book “The Adolescent: Development, Relationships, and Culture,” Dolgin supervises internships and research projects in the university’s Early Childhood Center. Education:
