Expert Source: Jann M. Ichida, M.S.


Jann Ichida is an environmental health scientist and serves as Ohio Wesleyan’s Environmental Health and Safety Administrative Manager. She is the university’s laboratory biosafety and chemical hygiene officer. Her microbiological research specializes in water quality, microbial ecology, and applied bacteriology. She holds two patents for research using bacteria to break down bird feathers and poultry waste.
