Joseph Musser is an 18th century specialist. He has published essays on Aphra Behn, Alexander Pope, William Cowper, Sir Joshua Reynolds, and the paradigm for nerve research in late 18th century medicine. He teaches composition at all levels, as well as the introduction to the major and English literature 1660-1798.
