Robert Olmstead is an established writer of fiction (six novels, numerous short stories), magazine, and journal articles. He is the director of Ohio Wesleyan's Creative Writing Program. His most recent book is the critically acclaimed “Coal Black Horse,” released in April 2007. He also has published a textbook for fiction-writing workshops (“Elements of the Craft”) and a non-fiction memoir (“Stay Here with Me: A Memoir.”)
