Shari Stone-Mediatore, Ph.D., specializes in the philosophy of Hannah Arendt, feminist theory, the politics of knowledge from Marx through feminist epistemology, and theories of violence and nonviolence. The author of “Reading Across Borders: Storytelling and Knowledge of Resistance,” Stone-Mediatore teaches courses including feminist philosophy, social/political philosophy, environmental ethics, and philosophy of violence and nonviolence at Ohio Wesleyan.
